DayLITE: Sci-Fi Primer, What Is That?

Morning all! Out today on DriveThruRPG is our newest primer for our genre-specific takes on our DayLITE System. This time, we are focusing on science fiction. Science fiction in RPGs can be hit or miss, it really depends on how much you decide to focus on the science or the fiction side of things. As you can guess, we focus more on the fiction aspect, but also try to keep in mind what makes sci-fi GOOD. 

With the primer, it offers six Lineages and six Careers for wanderers and Alders to look at, and also a first look at some of the rules we are designing for constructing Ships! This is a test, just like DayLITE: Fantasy Core Primer is, so all the downloads we can get and feedback we recieve will help out immensely. 

At the end of the day, Sci-Fi is meant to provide a rules-light approach to a genre that can be incredibly clunky and heavy, but when done right is amazingly fun. Even with the art direction - below you can see some of the concept work - is us trying to go in a different weirder direction from traditional science fiction.
