WELCOME!
Welcome to Daylight Publications, LLC. We are a small indie roleplaying game publisher here in New Hampshire, situated in the southwestern corner of the state, not far from Keene and Brattleboro, Vermont. We believe in three core values when creating: Diversity, Storytelling, and Connection.
It is important to have a Diverse team when constructing a good product, and to surround yourself with people from all walks of life. We as human beings are Storytellers, and all our products keep the focus on that front and center. And finally, we all believe in a strong Connection to our community - online and in-person - as well as to our work.
We work with HUMAN creators, collaborating with HUMANS. No AI here, folks, nosirreebob.

Our Statement on AI
Given the recent news concerning NaNoWriMo and AI, as well as Wizards of the Coast's stance on AI, we at Daylight Publications felt the need to put together something a little more concrete about our stance on AI.
Here at Daylight, we will not tolerate, accept, or support the use of any kind of AI in any creative work affiliated with us or any other publisher. Right now the negatives of AI far outweigh the positives, anyone in the tech industry with half a synapse knows that, and its ripping the creative industry apart right now. It is unregulated, unmonitored, and dangerous - people are actively being put in danger because of generative AI scams and videos and voice messaging.
AI is systematically destroying the creative space online, something we are all a part of here. Until there are ironclad finite regulations and controls and watchdog organizations keeping it in check and people are not having their work stolen, AI has no place here. GenAI/summativeAI does not belong in the TTRPG publishing world or in any creative sphere. It is destroying peoples' careers and livelyhoods.
Think very carefully before engaging with big-name brands or any brand who publicly champion AI when the evidence showing its dangers is in plain sight.
In short, fuck AI.

From Our Freelancers
I joined Daylight Publications through the mentorship program and have had a really creatively invigorating experience since. With the available resources of previous DayLITE projects to reference, clear communication about deadlines, and an active community to bounce ideas around, I found it very intuitive to jump right into writing — anything from lineage and career concepts to worldbuilding various settings. The communication about deadlines is one of the most important parts of creative work for me, as I often have trouble with conceptualizing them if they're too large in scope or far away. However, these deadlines are often chunked into manageable pieces and spread out over the course of a month or more, allowing for a lot of room to work creatively without feeling like there's mounting pressure. Overall, it's been a great time and I love engaging with the community around me, and I'd encourage anyone who wants to get into TTRPG work but doesn't know where to start to check out Daylight. - Ryan Hearden
Working with Daylight has been a blast since I signed on in February! The artists and writers are all just so talented, and there really is a setting for just about everyone. I'm excited for what's coming next, and I hope other folks enjoy playing with what we create! - Juno Baker

Working with Daylight has been truly a wonderful experience. Between networking with other amazing creators to having not only the freedom of creative liberties but also input on projects has been extremely fun. I've had fun challenging myself alongside working within my abilities and comforts. Excellent in terms of communication for projects. - LotusBunni
When I first joined a DayLite project, I didn‘t really know what to expect. Since then I was able to meet so many supportive and nice people that are simply a blast to work with! Collaborating with the teams has been an amazing experience and lets me expand my art limits. I‘m looking forward to seeing more projects and creating more awesome stuff together. - XanthouranSong

Our Values
At Daylight Publications, LLC., we firmly stand in support of Palestine's call for freedom and release from oppression and destruction by the Zionist control body of Israel. It isn't hard to do the research and see that what is happening to the Palestinian people is and has always been genocide. We encourage people to protest, boycott, speak up, and spread the word to call for an immediate ceasefire, the removal of settlers from Palestine, and the full reinstatement and enshrinement of the country and state of Palestine. Call your representatives, join marches where you can/if you can. Take this time to spread awareness of other human rights violations around the world, such as in the Congo with horrific cobalt mining, and the ethnic cleansing of the Uyghur people in China. Now is a time to speak up and use your voice and use social media to make people aware of these atrocities that are being committed around the world, and fight for change any way you can.
